three days of no writing along with one day in which I couldn't log onto here. fic back from beta reading *snogs eeyore9990*

I swear mother nature was messing with my mind this weekend. Had a wasp in the kitchen, went for fly swatter, enter room and no wasp, just the biggest spider I've seen in my house. Put swatter away, enter kitchen and spider was gone, lady bug was in its place. 0.o

No writing today on the Nano story. I was up early for me and off running around doing sales calls. This meant I had no clue what was happening in Texas until the news came on at 5. To say the least, I was shocked and am wondering how flisters in that area and with relatives in the military are doing.

Tomorrow marks the one week anniversary and I will be spending a bit of time with the parish Priest at the pet cemetery. Hopefully this will help me stop being so easily upset.

cleaning continues. we have a few throw rugs left to wash. the sofa was steam cleaned today. I may finally sit down to my submission for severusbigbang It's been ignored while I dealt with life.

Humor helps me cope. After alisanne's lolcats post the other day, I decided to pull up the macros that have been done of my crew over the last few years. Much silliness ahead I hope you enjoy the fur kids.

I really do need to have a security camera system installed so I can catch the insanity that is living with pets on film. I have other shots that need to be macro'd and will post them before too long.

Exhibit one: cast on four stitches, knit, pickup four stitches for total of 8, increase every other round until have 32 stitches on needles. Behold a toddler's mitten



Exhibit two: cast on TEN stitches, knit, pick up TEN stitches for a total of 20, increase every other round until have 72 stitches on needles. Behold a Man's size large sock

I finished up another chapter of Broken. It's posted to my dreamwidth for concrit. This is a 4,000+ word chapter that may need to be broken into two shorter ones.

Allergy season sucks.

Also, I have Spike nattering again. There is some game being advertised where the characters thoughts are being shared. One of them is thinking "sparklie balls, sparklie balls, I have sparklie balls"
Obviously, my inner Spike went right to Nancytribe vampires that sparkle with that line.

omgwtfbbq? can anyone explain how I had both wasps and hornets swarming on the back of my house this afternoon? I think there were a few honey bees in there. Honestly, they were pinging off the window at one point which really was freaky to listen to.

fledermaushund's entropion surgery went well.

Being a major league klutz, I manged to sprain my wrist loading her in the car to come home. She get's to wear "the cone of shame" for 2 weeks. This is the same amount of time I get to wear a brace and not knit.
